Tape (FOIL) for hot stamping daters
Hot stamping ribbons are special paint ribbons that are used in hot stamping presses and machines. They are designed to apply images, text or logos to various surfaces: labels, packaging, plastic cards, decorative items. Under the influence of temperature and pressure, the paint layer moves from the ribbon to the material, forming a clear and stable image.
IMPORTANT: you cannot use thermal transfer printing ribons for hot stamping. They have a different paint composition and a different image transfer technology. In thermal transfer ribons, the paint melts under the action of the printer's print head, and in hot stamping ribons, it is activated only by a heated plate and pressure. Using the "wrong" ribon results in no print or a very low quality print.
